Mr Abbey Naidoo
Abbey Naidoo commenced practice in December, 1995 for his own account. Having completed his studies through the distance tertiary institution, the University of South Africa, he decided to set up his practice in the centre of Durban.
To serve a wider populace, he added the Conveyancing and Notarial competences to his portfolio. His mission has been to see and assist the upliftment of the community at large, and to mentor aspiring young graduates to enable their confident entry into the profession. As a further service he sits as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court which is a voluntary investment.
The firm of Abbey Naidoo and Company has, besides representing its clients to the best of its ability, endeavoured to mentor students, including from the Durban University of Technology, in areas of practical administrative exposure in an office environment, assisted in a legal outreach programme for indigent persons. It has, besides catering to local matters, also initiated documentation for usage outside South Africa’s borders in accordance with the relevant Conventions.
The firm, despite being small, has over the years dedicated itself to the empowerment of women and persons from the disadvantaged communities.
